General

General questions

  • How soon can you start?

For projects with a clear scope, typically 2 to 3 weeks from signing. For PXL Dedicated, 3 to 4 weeks to assemble the right team.

  • What does an average project cost?

It depends on the scope and complexity of each project, so we'd rather not give you a generic figure that doesn't apply to your case. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a real range once we understand your project.

  • Do you work on long-term contracts?

Yes. Beyond projects with a defined scope and delivery date, we offer models for ongoing relationships: with PXL Dedicated, the same team stays involved over time instead of rotating from project to project, and with PXL Flex you work with specialists who already know your platform. This avoids the risk of losing context and speed that comes with switching teams every time a new project starts.

  • What technology stack do you use?

It depends heavily on the project: we choose the stack based on the problem to solve, not the other way around. Among the technologies we use most are React, React Native, and Flutter (and Swift and Kotlin when the app needs to be native) on frontend and mobile; Node.js, Python, and .NET on backend; and AWS, GCP, and Azure on cloud. This isn't a closed list: if your project needs something different, we evaluate it during PXL Discovery.

  • Do the code and the infrastructure end up in my name?

Yes, except for third-party tools or services with their own license. The code, repositories, and infrastructure we build for your project belong to you, not to us, and are handed over once the project is closed out.

  • Can you rescue a project that stalled halfway?

Yes, it's one of our services (PXL Audit Rescue). We start with a short technical audit to understand the real state the project was left in before committing to a stabilization plan and timeline.

  • Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, we sign a confidentiality agreement before sharing sensitive project information.

  • Are there any hidden costs beyond the initial quote?

No. We maintain total transparency across all our engagement models:

    • PXL Project: Since this operates on a fixed scope, any required changes are formally evaluated, communicated, and approved by you before execution—no surprises on your invoice.
    • PXL Dedicated & PXL Flex: These models operate on a monthly capacity or dedicated hour pool. You have full flexibility to adjust priorities and redirect tasks on the fly without bureaucratic hassles or extra hidden fees.
    • PXL Venture: As a strategic, revenue-share partnership, all financial terms, equity terms, and shared outcomes are clearly defined upfront.
  • What happens if we need to change the scope halfway through the project?

It's normal for that to happen. We assess the impact on time and cost of the change and present it as your decision, not something we silently absorb or block out of process rigidity. If the project still isn't well defined, we recommend PXL Dedicated: a fixed team that moves forward sprint by sprint without needing to close the scope.

  • What's communication like during the project?

We work in phases with functional deliverables and regular checkpoints, using Jira as our main tracking channel. If your team already has an established communication channel, we adapt to it.

  • Do you work across time zones or as a nearshore partner?

Yes. We work from Mexico as a nearshore partner, focused on companies in the United States. Today we serve clients in Mexico, the United States, Norway and the Dominican Republic, and we're used to coordinating across different time zones, based on our operating hours in Mexico.

  • What work methodology do you use?

We use Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies depending on the project and team, with frequent functional deliverables instead of a single deliverable at the end. We can also adapt to the methodology your team already uses.

  • Do you offer a warranty after delivery?

Yes, we offer a 5-month development warranty on all our services, except for the PXL Dedicated and PXL Flex work models, which, being retainer-based, involve ongoing work rather than a single delivery, and PXL Venture, which is also an ongoing partnership. The warranty starts as soon as the applications are published or the client's formal sign-off is obtained, whichever happens first. It covers errors that don't meet what's defined in the specifications, for example a button that doesn't respond or a flow that throws an error under normal usage conditions. It doesn't cover changes made by the client or third parties to the delivered code, failures of external services, new functionality not described in the proposal, or problems on rooted or modified devices or on the client's hosting.

  • How does a project with you usually start?

We usually start with a PXL Discovery to define scope, roadmap, and estimate, especially if the project isn't well defined yet. If you already have a clear scope, we can jump straight to quoting the project. Either way, it all starts by reaching out to us through Contact.

  • Do you work with companies outside Mexico?

Yes, we work with companies in any country. Today we serve clients in Mexico, the United States, Norway, and the Dominican Republic, but that's not a closed list.

  • How do you bill: upfront, by milestone, or at completion?

It depends on the work model. In PXL Project (fixed scope) we bill by milestone, typically 50% upfront, 30% at the project midpoint, and 20% on delivery. In the PXL Dedicated and PXL Flex models, being retainer-based, billing is upfront, month by month.

  • What happens if the project grows well beyond what was originally planned?

In PXL Project (fixed scope) we assess each case separately, since scope growth means adjusting time and cost. In PXL Dedicated this doesn't stop the project: since it's an ongoing work model, we keep moving forward with the team already assigned. In PXL Flex, growth is covered with additional hours, subject to team availability; if it becomes constant, consider moving to PXL Dedicated at the end of the contract.

  • Do you work with product teams that already have their own PM or designer?

Yes, no problem at all in the case of a designer. In the case of a PM, we assign a Pixzelle PM of our own to every project, PXL Flex included, to properly manage it internally, and they work together with your team.

  • Do you also design, or just build?

We design and build. The same team handles UX/UI and production code, not just a throwaway demo.

  • How long after the project can you keep supporting us?

We offer ongoing support through our PXL Dedicated or PXL Flex models, for new pieces or extensions of whatever we built: a brand system, an app, a platform, an integration.

  • Does Pixzelle hold compliance certifications (such as HIPAA, GDPR, ISO, etc.)?

Not directly. Pixzelle does not hold these corporate-level certifications itself. However, we design and implement the necessary technical controls and architecture so that your software, systems, and infrastructure fully comply with the regulatory standards your business requires.

  • Which engagement model is right for me?

If your scope is defined, PXL Project. If you need a steady team for a long-term product, PXL Dedicated. If you need support, maintenance or specialists for specific tasks, PXL Flex. If your business already has traction and you want a technology partner who shares the risk, PXL Venture.

    See engagement models

  • What is the minimum engagement for PXL Flex?

PXL Flex starts at 20 hours per month with a 6-month minimum commitment. Additional hours are subject to team availability.

  • Why does PXL Dedicated require a 12-month minimum commitment?

Because keeping the same team speeds up delivery and reduces errors. A team that knows your product and your code doesn't lose weeks to handoffs or relearning the context.

  • What is the difference between PXL Dedicated and PXL Flex?

With PXL Dedicated you get a fixed team (PM, lead designer and 2 to 4 senior engineers) working in bi-weekly sprints on your roadmap. With PXL Flex you contract a monthly capacity in hours and access specialists by area based on team capacity. PXL Dedicated clients get priority.

  • How do I track progress?

PXL Project, PXL Dedicated and PXL Flex include a real-time tracking platform. PXL Project includes bi-weekly milestone demos, and PXL Dedicated and PXL Flex include a monthly report of hours used in the period.

  • Who can apply for PXL Venture?

Only businesses with proven traction: revenue, paying users or measurable operating metrics. If you don't have traction yet, you can start with PXL Discovery or PXL MVP.

    See engagement models

  • Can I switch engagement models later?

Yes. Many clients start with PXL Project and move to PXL Dedicated or PXL Flex to keep evolving the product. When you switch, the new model's minimum commitment applies.

  • How soon can PXL Flex start?

On average, 2 to 3 weeks from signing, depending on the specialty you need.

  • What does the real-time tracking platform include?

We use Jira: you see each task's status and the sprint or milestone progress, and you can leave comments for the team.

Build

PXL Discovery

  • Why do I need a Discovery if I already know what I want?

What you ask for in the brief is usually the symptom, not the problem. Discovery validates whether the solution you have in mind is the right one and, in many cases, finds higher-impact opportunities with less effort. If after the Discovery we confirm your original hypothesis was right, we have saved you months of rework anyway.

  • What does a Discovery cost?

It's a fraction of the total project cost, meant to reduce the risk of the larger investment that comes after. It typically takes 3 to 8 weeks depending on the project, which is the main factor that determines cost. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a real range for your case.

  • Is the Discovery deducted from development if I hire you?

Yes. The only condition is continuing development with us: if you do, the Discovery cost is deducted from the first phase.

  • Can I buy Discovery without committing to the development?

Yes. Discovery is an independent deliverable (a scope document, roadmap, and estimate) that you can use with us or with any other provider.

  • Who takes part from my side?

Ideally whoever knows the business problem (founder, product owner, or the user-facing area) and someone with technical vision if you already have an internal team. You don't need a full team, but you do need real availability during the 3 to 8 weeks.

  • What happens if after the Discovery we decide not to build?

You keep the roadmap and the estimate either way. We'd rather you decide not to build in time than build something that wasn't worth it.

Build

PXL Mobile

  • Native, React Native or Flutter? Which suits me?

It depends. If graphical performance or access to very specific operating-system APIs is critical (AR/VR, live video, deep banking integrations), we recommend native. For 80% of the products that reach us, such as SaaS, standard fintech, e-commerce or internal management, React Native and Flutter give indistinguishable quality in half the time with a single team. In discovery we give you our recommendation with the technical and economic arguments, and you decide.

  • What does an average app cost?

It depends on the number of flows and whether it's native (Kotlin on Android, Swift on iOS) or cross-platform (React Native or Flutter). In terms of time, a typical build takes between 2 and 6 months depending on scope.

  • Do you publish the app on my Apple and Google accounts?

Yes, we publish under your developer accounts so app ownership stays with you from day one.

  • What happens after launch?

We offer ongoing support and maintenance (bug fixes, OS updates, new versions) through our PXL Dedicated or PXL Flex models, depending on how constant a level of support you need.

  • What if I already have an app built by another supplier?

We start with a short technical audit through PXL Audit Technical to understand the real state the code is in, before proposing whether it's better to build on that base or rebuild critical parts.

  • What devices do you develop for?

Beyond smartphones and tablets on iOS and Android, we build components for smartwatches (Apple Watch and Wear OS), Apple TV, and Android TV, and we can integrate with CarPlay and Android Auto when the project requires it. We also publish to Huawei's AppGallery when a project needs it.

Build

PXL Software

  • How long does it take to develop a custom platform?

Most enterprise platforms take between 6 and 12 months to reach a first production release. Smaller-scope SaaS platforms can launch in 3 to 5 months. We give you realistic ranges in Discovery, not optimistic promises.

  • Can you integrate with our ERP, CRM or current system?

Yes, integrating with existing systems (ERPs, CRMs, external APIs) is a standard part of the work, not an exception.

  • Do you work in phases?

Yes, we split development into phases with functional deliverables in each one, instead of a single deliverable after 6 to 12 months.

  • What is the typical investment range?

It varies a lot depending on whether it's a smaller-scope SaaS platform or a full ERP. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a real range for your case.

  • Do you maintain it after launch?

Yes, through our PXL Dedicated or PXL Flex models, depending on how constant a level of support you need.

  • How do you handle security?

We apply good security practices from the design stage (access control, encryption, vulnerability management), and if the project requires it, PXL Security can run a dedicated pentest or security audit.

  • Should we choose a custom ERP or a commercial one like SAP or NetSuite?

A commercial ERP works well when your processes are standard. If your competitive advantage lies in how you operate, or you are paying licenses for modules you don't use, a custom one usually pays off in the medium term. In Discovery we tell you which one suits you.

  • Can you migrate the data from our current system?

Yes. Data migration is part of the plan: we clean, validate and move the information, with testing before the final cutover.

  • Can we modernize without stopping operations?

Yes. We work module by module with parallel operation, so the previous system keeps running until each new part is validated.

  • Should we rewrite from scratch or modernize in parts?

It depends on the state of the code, the documentation and the business risk. That's why we start with a technical assessment before recommending a path.

Build

PXL Experience

  • Can you work with our internal design team?

Yes, we do it all the time. We can lead UX research while your team takes UI, or build a base design system your team extends. The most efficient approach is to define scope and roles at kickoff.

  • Do you design in Figma?

Yes, it's our standard tool for design and component systems.

  • Do you run usability testing?

Yes, with real users before moving to code. It's part of why our design converts and not just looks good.

  • Do you build the code too, or only the design?

Both. We can deliver just the design or continue into development with the same team that already knows the product.

  • What does a design system cost?

It varies depending on how many components and states it covers, and whether it starts from scratch or from an existing base.

Build

PXL MVP

  • What exactly does an MVP include?

The minimum needed to validate the problem, the users and the value proposition. That varies a lot by industry: on B2B SaaS platforms it is usually 3 to 5 complete flows; on mass-consumer apps it can be a single, very polished journey; on marketplaces, both sides of the platform operating at low volume.

  • How soon can it launch?

Between 8 and 12 weeks, depending on the scope validated during Discovery.

  • Can the MVP be scaled afterwards?

Yes. We deliver real production code, not a throwaway prototype, built to grow without being rewritten from scratch.

  • What does an MVP cost?

It varies depending on how many complete flows your MVP needs to validate. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a real range for your case.

  • Can you launch on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, we include the publishing process for both stores when the MVP is a mobile app. We can build it native (Swift and Kotlin) or cross-platform (React Native or Flutter). For an MVP, cross-platform usually lets you launch on both stores with one team and one codebase, and we confirm the choice during discovery.

  • Do you work with pre-seed or seed stage startups?

Yes, it's one of the most common profiles we see for MVP work, with no particular requirement or condition.

Build

PXL Commerce

  • Shopify or custom development?

Shopify Plus is excellent for standard D2C with medium catalogues. Custom or headless only where there are specific constraints (a very complex catalogue, B2B, a multi-vendor marketplace, critical performance). We give you a recommendation in Discovery.

  • Can you migrate my current store?

Yes, we migrate catalog, orders, and history from your current platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, VTEX, or another) without losing sales continuity.

  • Do you integrate with my ERP?

Yes, we connect ecommerce with ERPs, local payment gateways, and logistics.

  • What does it cost?

It depends on whether it's a standard B2C store on Shopify Plus or a custom headless multi-vendor marketplace.

  • Do you also do post-launch marketing?

It's not our main focus; we concentrate on building the platform. For the creative and content side we can support you through PXL Creative; if you need a broader marketing strategy, reach out to us through Contact and we'll help you find the right partner.

Evolve

PXL Connect

  • Do you work with SAP?

Yes, integrations with SAP ECC, S/4HANA and SAP BTP. For pure SAP implementations there are specialist partners we collaborate with.

  • What does a complex integration cost?

It varies a lot depending on how many systems it connects and whether hardware or legacy systems are involved. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a real range for your case.

  • Can you integrate industrial hardware?

Yes, it's part of our work with legacy systems and industrial hardware, not just software APIs.

  • Do you use iPaaS (Mulesoft, Workato)?

Yes, we use iPaaS platforms like Mulesoft, Workato, Boomi, or Tray.io when it applies, though we also build custom integrations case by case.

  • Do you handle legacy system integrations?

Yes, that's exactly the kind of integration where we don't rely on documentation that doesn't exist: we reverse-engineer the system to map real data flows and dependencies.

  • What is GEO and how is it different from SEO?

SEO aims to get you into Google's results; GEO aims to get AI assistants like ChatGPT or Perplexity to mention and cite you when someone asks about what you offer. They complement each other, and much of the technical groundwork serves both.

  • What is an MCP server and why would I need one?

MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external products and systems. With an MCP server, an assistant can query your catalog, availability or account information and take actions within the permissions you define.

Evolve

PXL Data

  • Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift?

It depends. BigQuery is excellent if you are already on GCP and your load is analytical with large occasional queries. Snowflake is the most flexible for multi-cloud and mixed workloads. Redshift is still valid if you already have a deep AWS ecosystem. In Discovery we give you a recommendation with costs projected over 12 months.

  • Why dbt and not SQL in Looker or Tableau?

Because we separate data transformation (dbt, governed and versioned) from visualization (Looker, Tableau, Power BI). That way business logic doesn't stay locked inside a specific dashboard.

  • Can you do embedded analytics in my product?

Yes, we can build analytics inside your own product, not just internal dashboards for your team.

  • What does it cost to run a modern data warehouse?

It depends on the data volume and how many sources are integrated.

  • Can you help us define KPIs?

Yes, part of the work is helping the business team define metrics they truly understand and use, not just building the data pipeline.

  • Do you handle sensitive data and compliance?

Yes, we apply data governance, role-based access control, and compliance from the data modeling stage itself, not as an afterthought. If your project requires a specific standard, we confirm it from the architecture design stage.

Evolve

PXL Advisory

  • How does PXL Advisory differ from hiring a traditional consultant?

A traditional consultant hands over a deck and leaves. Advisory stays with your team, takes part in the decisions and signs concrete documents (ADRs, assessments, roadmaps). The deliverable is decisions taken and documented.

  • Does PXL Advisory replace a full-time CTO?

Not entirely: it's fractional technical leadership for companies that don't yet need (or can't afford) a full-time CTO, but do need senior judgment on architecture and long-term decisions.

  • How long does a typical engagement last?

From 4 weeks for a one-off PXL Project. For ongoing guidance, with PXL Flex (monthly capacity in hours, 6-month minimum) or PXL Dedicated (an assigned advisor or team, 12-month minimum).

  • What is the cadence of sessions?

It depends on what's agreed during scoping, typically bi-weekly or monthly sessions with your team, with concrete deliverables each cadence (an RFC review: the technical proposal document a team writes before building something, a technology vendor analysis, a roadmap judgment, coaching a technical lead, and so on), all defined and signed before the engagement starts.

  • What is the investment range?

It depends on the model (a one-off PXL Project vs. an ongoing monthly retainer) and the scope agreed. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a real range for your case.

  • Can you take part in technical hiring decisions?

Yes, we can help define the role profile and run technical interviews for key candidates.

Evolve

PXL Intelligence

  • Does AI replace entire teams?

AI amplifies human judgement and automates decisions that previously required an expert.

  • Can you connect the AI to our internal systems?

Yes, we build agents and assistants with RAG connected to your internal systems and data, not isolated demos.

  • Does Pixzelle build on Amazon Connect?

Yes. We design and build customer service agents on Amazon Connect with its agentic CX designer (Amazon CX Designer) and connect them to your systems, mobile app and website, including Live Sync experiences that guide users inside the app during the conversation.

  • Which models do you use?

We work with different providers depending on the case: OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models, among others. We choose the model based on each project's privacy, cost, and performance needs.

  • How do you handle data privacy?

Your data and your customers' data isn't used to train third-party models. When we connect AI to your systems, we define from the design stage what information goes out, where, and under what controls, so both you and your end users are protected.

  • What does it cost to run AI in production?

The cost depends on usage volume, model complexity, and whether we use an external provider or our own infrastructure. Those are the variables that determine price in each case.

  • How soon do I see results?

It depends on the use case: a well-scoped internal assistant can show measurable results within weeks, while a more complex decision-making system takes more time to tune.

Audit

PXL Audit Technical

  • Do you audit projects built mainly with AI?

Yes, it's one of the audits we're asked for most. We assess the quality of the generated code, the architecture, security, and future maintainability, regardless of whether the project was built with AI assistance, vibecoded, or in a traditional way.

  • How long does an audit take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the project being audited. In general, it typically takes 2 to 6 weeks. Reach out to us through Contact for a specific estimate.

  • What does it cost?

It depends on the size and complexity of the project. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a clear quote based on scope.

  • Do we need to give you access to the code?

Yes, we need read access to the repository to run a real technical audit. We sign the necessary confidentiality agreements before starting.

  • Can you audit projects you did not build yourselves?

Yes, most of our audits are on projects built by other teams or providers. That's actually the most common case.

  • What happens after the audit?

You receive a report with findings prioritized by risk and impact. If you want, we can help you implement fixes through the corresponding service.

  • Do you also do deep security audits?

For security findings that require deeper analysis (a formal pentest), we do it together with PXL Security.

  • Do you also audit AI agents and models?

Yes. Beyond the code, we evaluate how they behave: how accurate their answers are, whether they hallucinate, leak information or can be manipulated. Ideally this happens before going to production and again whenever the model or data changes.

Audit

PXL Audit Rescue

  • Do you rescue projects built with AI and no supervision?

Yes, it's one of the cases we see most: projects generated with AI tools that work up to a point but have architecture, security, or scalability problems. We assess the code, identify what's worth keeping, and define a stabilization plan.

  • Can you rescue any project?

Most of the time, yes, but first we do an honest assessment: if the project has problems so deep that rebuilding it is faster and cheaper than rescuing it, we'll tell you clearly before we start.

  • What does a rescue cost?

It depends on the project's condition and the scope of the rescue. We give you a quote after the initial code assessment.

  • Do you work with any stack?

We work with the most common stacks on the market. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll check with our team whether we can take on yours.

  • What happens with the previous supplier?

We don't need to involve the previous provider to do the rescue; we work directly with the available code and documentation. If it becomes necessary to coordinate with them at some point, we're open to it.

  • Can you integrate with our internal team?

Yes, we can work together with your internal team, either guiding the rescue or executing it directly, depending on what you need.

  • What happens after the rescue?

We deliver the stabilized project with clear documentation. You can stay on with ongoing support through our PXL Dedicated or PXL Flex models, or transfer operations to your team entirely.

Audit

PXL Audit Experience

  • How long does a UX audit take?

It depends entirely on the number of views or flows, platforms, and processes to evaluate. In general, scoped audits (one product, 2 to 3 key flows) take 2 to 3 weeks, and enterprise audits (multi-product or heavily regulated) take 4 to 5 weeks. Reach out to us through Contact for a specific estimate.

  • What does it cost?

It depends on the scope: number of flows, platforms, and depth of analysis. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a clear quote based on your product.

  • Do we need to give you access to analytics?

We recommend giving us access to your analytics tools (user behavior, funnels, heatmaps) because it enriches the diagnosis a lot with real data, not just heuristics.

  • What happens after the audit?

You receive a report with prioritized findings. If you want, we can help you implement the improvements through PXL Experience.

  • Do you make recommendations or only identify problems?

Both. We don't stop at pointing out the problem: every finding comes with a concrete recommendation, prioritized by its impact.

  • Is my site or app required to be accessible?

It depends on where you sell. In the European Union it is already mandatory for many digital products and services, and in the United States lawsuits over inaccessible sites are common. Even if you're not required to, an accessible product reaches more users.

Scale

PXL Cloud

  • Do you work only with AWS, or also GCP and Azure?

We work with all three major providers (AWS, GCP, and Azure) and choose based on what you already have in place or what best fits your needs.

  • Can you migrate our existing infrastructure?

Yes. We start with a Discovery of your current infrastructure (PXL Discovery), design the migration plan, and execute it in phases to minimize the risk of disruption.

  • Do you include monitoring and observability?

Yes, we implement monitoring, alerting, and observability dashboards as part of a well-managed cloud infrastructure, not as a separate service.

  • Can you help us reduce cloud spend?

Yes, cost analysis and optimization (rightsizing, reservations, more efficient architecture) are part of our work with cloud infrastructure.

  • Do you handle compliance (SOC 2, ISO, PCI)?

We help implement the infrastructure and technical controls needed to meet these standards.

  • What happens after the project?

You can stay on with ongoing support through our PXL Dedicated or PXL Flex models, or transfer operations to your internal team with complete documentation. For infrastructure-specific detail, see the full PXL Cloud service. You decide which model works best for you.

Scale

PXL DevOps

  • What does it cost to implement DevOps in my company?

It depends on the size of your infrastructure, your current maturity level, and the scope (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, SRE, or all three). We give you a quote after an initial Discovery (PXL Discovery).

  • Can you do SRE for us as a service?

Yes, we offer SRE as an ongoing service: defining SLOs, incident management, reducing operational debt, and on-call coverage.

  • How do you measure progress?

With objective DevOps metrics: deployment frequency, recovery time, change failure rate, and lead time, among others. We review these indicators with you on a regular basis.

  • Which engagement model do we hire DevOps services under?

It depends on the need: for one-off migration projects or an initial CI/CD setup we use PXL Project; for ongoing technical support or on-demand consulting, you can work under PXL Dedicated or PXL Flex.

  • Do you adapt to the stack we already use, or impose your own tools?

We adapt to your current infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, etc.). Our goal is to optimize and standardize your existing architecture without forcing unnecessary migrations or creating dependency on us.

Scale

PXL Security

  • What does it cost?

It depends on the scope: a one-off pentest, a compliance review, incident response, or ongoing security. Reach out to us through Contact and we'll give you a clear quote based on what you need to protect.

  • Do you do a pentest with no commitment to remediation?

Yes, you can hire just the pentest and receive the findings report. We also offer remediation support if you need it, but it's not mandatory.

  • Do you work with specific compliance (PCI, HIPAA, LFPDPPP)?

Yes, we help implement technical controls aligned with these frameworks, including Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) for companies operating in Mexico.

  • Can you respond to an active incident?

Yes, we offer security incident response.

  • Do you work with automation SaaS such as Vanta or Drata?

Yes, Vanta and Drata are among the tools we use in PXL Security to automate compliance evidence collection.

Scale

PXL Automation

  • How does PXL Automation differ from PXL Intelligence?

PXL Automation focuses on automating existing processes and workflows (repetitive tasks, integrations, business rules), while PXL Intelligence focuses on incorporating AI models into a product or process. Many projects combine both: we use AI for tasks that require reasoning and traditional automation for those that don't.

  • How does PXL Automation differ from PXL Connect?

PXL Connect solves integration between systems, getting data to flow from one side to the other. PXL Automation solves the execution of complete processes, with business logic, approvals, and exceptions. An automation project almost always uses integrations as part of its scope, but the final deliverable is an automated process from start to finish.

  • When is automating a process NOT worth it?

When the process changes very frequently, when volume is low and the cost of automating doesn't pay off, or when it depends on human judgment that's hard to codify. During the initial Discovery (PXL Discovery), we'll tell you honestly if automating isn't the best investment at that point.

  • Can we automate processes on legacy systems with no API?

Yes. When a system doesn't expose an API, we use alternatives like interface-level automation, direct database reads and writes when feasible, or file-based integrations.

  • What tools do you use?

We select the tool based on the case: process automation platforms, RPA, custom scripts, and each system's native integrations.

  • Does automating mean laying people off?

That's neither our goal nor the typical outcome. Automation frees your team from repetitive tasks so they can focus on higher-value work. Staffing decisions are each company's responsibility, not something we decide.

PXL Branding

  • What does a brand project cost?

It depends on scope: a refresh of an existing identity, a complete identity with strategy, and naming plus a complete identity for a new company or product are three different levels of investment. We give you a specific range after the initial call and the brand discovery.

  • Do you build the website as well?

Yes, we can carry the brand onto the site with the same team, or hand over the brand system for your team or provider to implement.

  • Do you work with existing brands that have equity?

Yes. Beyond building new brands from scratch, we also work with brands that already carry market equity, refreshing, consolidating or evolving an existing identity, including after an acquisition, without having to start over.

  • Do you include trademark registration?

We don't handle the legal registration process itself, but the brand system is ready for you to register. We can suggest a partner firm and coordinate the process with you.

PXL Creative

  • What does it cost?

It depends on format and volume. One-off productions (video, photography, a pitch deck) are priced per project according to production complexity. A monthly retainer for continuous production varies with cadence and type of content. We give you a specific range after the scoping call.

  • Do you work with existing brands?

Yes, creative production is anchored to the strategy and brand system you already have, whether existing or new.

  • Can you work alongside our media agency?

Yes, we can produce the content and coordinate with your media agency on paid placement.

  • Do you have a proprietary image bank?

We don't work with generic stock imagery; we produce photography and video specific to each brand and project.
