If you contact us by email (including the pre-filled email links found in the footer, on the Contact page, on the Home page, and on our service pages) or through WhatsApp Business, we collect the content of that conversation or correspondence, as well as associated metadata, such as the date and time of contact. For email, the data we receive depends on what your own email client sends when you use those links: your email address, your name if included in your signature, and the subject and message you choose to send or edit.
If you interact with our website's chat assistant, we may retain the content of that conversation only if you accept the "Functional" cookie category while browsing the site. If the conversation results in a contact or prospect, we retain only the information necessary to follow up with you, together with your record. The retention period for this history is described in Section VI.
III. Sensitive personal data
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data, such as data related to your health, ethnic or racial origin, religious, philosophical, or moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions, or sexual orientation. We ask that you not include this type of information in the open fields of our forms, in your WhatsApp or email messages, or in the documents you share with us, unless strictly necessary for the nature of your project.
IV. Purposes of processing your data
Primary purposes, necessary to handle your request
- Identify you and follow up with you as a contact or prospect
- Evaluate your project and prepare a personalized quote or proposal
- Communicate with you during the sales process, including scheduling calls or meetings
- If you hire our services, comply with the corresponding contractual, administrative, and tax obligations
- Evaluate the quality of our services
- If you applied through our Careers section, evaluate your profile for recruitment and selection processes, and contact you if your profile matches an open position. If no position is available at the time of your application, we retain your information to consider you for future opportunities, until you request its deletion
Secondary purposes, which require your consent and which you may object to
- Send you marketing communications about our services, success stories, valuable content, event invitations, or promotions, by email and/or WhatsApp
- Offer you, through marketing campaigns, our services, products, and solutions, including the use of third-party digital advertising platforms to target these campaigns
- Analyze your interaction with our communications and campaigns to improve their content and relevance
If you do not want us to process your data for these secondary purposes, you may let us know from your first contact or at any later time, by writing to contact@pixzelle.mx or following the unsubscribe instructions included in our email and WhatsApp communications. Your objection to these purposes does not affect the handling of your quote request.
By providing us with your personal data through any of the channels described in this notice, whether our website, the quote form, our chat assistant, WhatsApp Business, email, or our Careers section, you acknowledge that you have read and accept the terms of this Comprehensive Privacy Notice, including the purposes stated in this section, the processing and, where applicable, the transfer of your personal data to the providers described in Section V, and the retention and backup periods described in Section VI.
V. Providers and external services we use
To operate the channels described above, we rely on external providers that process personal data on our behalf, including:
- Typeform, to host and process the information captured in our quote form
- WhatsApp Business, by Meta Platforms, Inc., to communicate with you through that channel
- Resend, to send our emails
- Microsoft Clarity, by Microsoft Corporation, to analyze how visitors interact with our website through heat maps and session recordings, and where applicable to support the improvement of our marketing campaigns
- Microsoft Advertising (Bing), to which Microsoft Clarity automatically syncs the session, as a second recipient of this information
- Copyleft Solutions AS, a company incorporated in Norway that hosts our website and our database on its servers located in Oslo, Norway
In particular, our website and database are hosted on servers located in Oslo, Norway, so your personal data is subject to an international transfer to that country. These providers may store or process information on servers located outside Mexico and are subject to their own privacy policies. They may only use your data in accordance with our instructions and for the purposes described here, not for their own purposes.
- Google Sheets, by Google LLC, where we record the leads generated by our chat assistant
- CookieYes, to manage our cookie notice and your consent preferences on our website
- Google reCAPTCHA, by Google LLC, to protect our Careers section form against automated submissions
- Sentry, to monitor technical errors and the performance of our chat assistant
VI. Data retention and backups
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this notice, as well as to comply with applicable legal, tax, or contractual obligations.
If you interacted with our chat assistant, the history of that conversation is retained for up to 90 calendar days, after which it is automatically deleted, unless it resulted in a contact or prospect, in which case we retain only the information necessary to follow up with you.
Our hosting provider periodically backs up the server and database where our website is hosted. Because of this, when we delete your personal data from our systems, for example upon expiration of the period noted above or in response to a cancellation request, copies of that information may remain in secure backups for up to an additional 12 months before being permanently deleted.
VII. Use of cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses a cookie notice managed by CookieYes to request your consent before activating non-essential cookies. The notice lets you accept, reject, or configure your preferences by category, and you can change them at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. We use the following categories:
- Necessary: essential for the site to function, for example the CookieYes consent cookie, our admin panel session, the Typeform component in the quote form, and Google reCAPTCHA in the Careers form
- Functional: enable additional features, such as the automatic opening of our chat assistant and the retention of your conversation history
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors interact with the site, currently through Microsoft Clarity, by means of heat maps and session recordings
- Advertising and marketing: reserved for when we use digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, or Microsoft Advertising, to measure or personalize our campaigns; it remains disabled by default until you enable it
You can disable or change cookies at any time through the CookieYes notice or your browser settings, although this may limit some of the site's features.
VIII. ARCO rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to request directly that we rectify your personal data if inaccurate, cancel it when you consider it is not required for any of the stated purposes, or object to its processing for specific purposes. You also have the right to object to your data being processed in an automated manner when this produces adverse legal effects on you, and to revoke any consent you may have given us.
To exercise any of these rights, you may write to us at contact@pixzelle.mx. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days from receipt of your request.
IX. Changes to this privacy notice
We reserve the right to update this privacy notice at any time, for example due to changes in our services, in the providers we use, or in applicable law. Any changes will be published in this same section of our website, indicating the date of the last update.
The version in effect is always the one published on this page with the indicated last-update date; any prior version ceases to be valid as of that date, regardless of when or how it was previously accessed.
X. Competent authority
If you believe your right to the protection of personal data has been violated, you have the right to contact the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Anti-Corruption and Good Government Secretariat), the authority responsible for the protection of personal data held by private parties in Mexico.
